The Situation

The community of Lower Herring Lake was facing an obstacle - disengagement. As the community ages and the new generation comes in, environmental awareness and lake upkeep are falling to the wayside. The Board of the Lake Association found themselves asking, "How do we get more residence involved?"

The Solution

Being a summer resident of the community, I was eager to aid. The first step was simple - design a nostalgic brand that represented the morning boat rides and nightly campfires common to the area. Phase two was to get the Association online. I built a website that provides a space for community news, events, and updates along with a simple way to donate.
